Smoke on the Water, Swanage
Our clients had received the green light to open a new restaurant at the superb water front location, at the head of the pier in Swanage. We were recommended as Architects by the manager of the Mowlem Theatre Swanage for this project.
We worked on our client’s theme to provide a sketch design scheme followed by the detailed design, to enable their ideas to come to life. We obtained the necessary Building Regulation approval required for the work, and oversaw the project on site to practical completion.
The project challenges included working within the constraints of the existing occupied building, consisting of a luxury flats development on the floors above. The finished result met and exceeded our client’s expectations, through careful design to make the most of the incredible views across Swanage Bay that the building has to offer.
