Longcross, Chertsey – We provided a construction drawing package for a development of 4 luxury detached properties. The properties were designed to mimic barn conversions and featured full height glazing to the stairwells and a mix of zinc and slate roof coverings. The properties are in a private, gated woodland location.
Fernhurst, Midhurst – We were commissioned following planning approval to provide full working drawings for construction purposes for 4 detached 3 and 4 bed houses on a former petrol station site in the village of Fernhurst, West Sussex. The units were traditional masonry construction on piled foundations due to the ground conditions.
Emerald Crescent, Hythe – A development of 17 flats, 6 of which were shared ownership constructed for a housing association, next to Hythe waterfront.
We took the scheme forward from the planning drawings to construction stage, including dealing with several significant changes to the planning approval.
Brewery Hill, Arundel – We became involved in this project following the planning and listed building approvals. We were appointed to improve the layouts of the units and obtain the necessary amendments to the approvals.
Following on from this a full set of working drawings for the conversion, refurbishment and new build elements was then produced for the six converted flats and seven new build houses.
Robinswood Farm, Bere Regis – Following a serious fire at this characterful Grade II listed property RLM Architects were contacted to assist with the subsequent insurance claim.
After lengthy negotiations with Purbeck District Council Planning Department and the Listed Building Officer, RLM Architects secured the appropriate Permissions to carry out restoration and an extension following the fire to upgrade this family home for 21st Century living.
A major part of the negotiation was to ensure the main characteristics giving the property its Grade II listing be reinstated sensitively. This has been achieved with all parties appreciating the rich history of the property.
Marlborough Place, Wimborne – The Planners said “no potential “ for this garden severance and dwelling but RLM Architects achieved a Planning Approval for this contextual organic design on a complex and compact site. These sketch images were produced at the 11th hour and helped secure the approval.
