 Rev Richard Tulloch

“As senior pastor of a large Anglican church which has recently done a £1M development of our church buildings, but which has also completed a multitude of complicated improvements over 17 years, I cannot recommend more highly RLM Architects. As a firm I believe they are unique in the way they really understand the complexity of uses and the variety of stakeholders in a church building.”

Rainford Builders

“We have found RLM to be an exceptional team.  From small to large contracts,   from individual personal attention, to a team think tank if required. They have adaptability for a quiet chat to rationalise a project, or a full on race to the finish”

Lymington United Reformed Church

Recently completed a major building project involving extensive alterations and refurbishing of their grade 2 listed church building together with construction of a new hall and support facilities for church and community events. From the initial designs and applications for planning consent to handing over the completed building the project was managed and overseen by RLM Architects.

Our building project had the full range of architects’ nightmares: – From bureaucracy involved in modifying listed buildings, additional customer requirements, budget constraints requiring action to achieve cost reductions, and unforeseen problems in the old building requiring extensive repairs. RLM dealt calmly and efficiently with all of these issues and a host of others. The church as a whole is delighted with the outcome.“

“I can only go back 24 years to 1987 …. I have enjoyed an amiable association with RLM over many years working on a wide range of projects, on a variety of buildings and in many locations throughout Dorset. As the saying goes…”no job too large or too small, they’re always willing to oblige”.

“In relation to the work that I have been involved in with you over the last three years, I have noted that you have a knowledge and experience of historic building work, including adaptation and extension of historic buildings for contemporary use. In addition our discussions have led me to believe that you have a knowledge and understanding of the current approaches to building conservation and a willingness to continue to develop experience. I very much enjoyed our recent discussions about the proposed conversions…and was heartened to note your willingness to incorporate many of the existing surviving features as possible.”

CEO Action on Addiction

“I paid my first visit to the building since the completion of the refurbishment and I want to congratulate everyone involved on a superb transformation. It sets a benchmark for the environmental standards for the delivery of community based addiction services.  As such we should be publicising it.  It had a pleasant welcoming and purposeful atmosphere.”
