ST ANDREW’S CHURCH, ROCKBOURNE

A fine example of a Medieval building, this Grade I listed church, like so many others has suffered a lead theft and as a consequence some significant damage to the interior due to heavy rain during some of the recent wet weather.

Complex negotiations with the Local Authority, English Heritage and other Stakeholders have delayed the repair work.

Permission has now been granted to use an alternative to lead and work should shortly begin on the restoration and repair to the fabric of the church.
