BBC television news (Tuesday 2 April 2013) reported on a lead theft to this nationally important Grade I Listed Building.

Area of the lead theft which also caused damage to the Bell Tower.

Recent bad weather has caused water ingress close to the stunning Arts and Crafts artwork on the walls before roofers could secure the interior against the elements.

 

 

 

 

Following media interest, the church has been able to raise significant funds to be able to start the restoration work to enable the repairs to the roof to begin.

Church of All Saints have asked RLM Architects for help in approaching funding bodies who may be able to help with further fund raising as the church would like to take the opportunity to improve their facilities for the benefit of the wider community.
